Monday's Wash Day!

.. .. .... .. .. .. .... .. ... ..... .. .... .... .. .. ... . .. .. .

Yesterday...
 was one of those days.
This was as good as it got...
The perfect wash day!

Need I say more?

I will say this.  By the time I finished hanging the last of the full load...
the first few items, on the line, were already dry.  :)

***

Other than catching up with the laundry, it was a day of gentle recuperation from the busy of the weekend...
sort of.

  3. Dear Bevy,
I love Monday wash day! It was 100 degrees here yesterday. I'm pretty sure my clothes were drying AS I hung them! Then we had to run to town and now I'm trying to finish today, but it's overcast and damp and taking forever. ;o)

Oh well. Time for other things then...like canning green beans.
Have a great week, Bevy! xo

  4. I used to put my laundry on a line. I must ask my husband if he will set one up at this house for me.
I liked the comfort and peace I found in hanging it and taking it down. I have never liked folding though.;>) Fortunately my husband doesn't mind it, so he's the official folder in this household of two.
The grandkids were here over the weekend, so I have more laundry than usual. We always enjoy having them.

    1. Is your hubby like mine - better with the laundry than the lady of the house? I always say that about my man. But, we have two different ways of folding... (smirk!)... I debate. Do I redo or let it go?

      Enjoy your weekend!

  5. Monday is my main laundry day. There was a little more this week as I didn't do a load or two on Friday due to the holiday. I still feel like I am recovering from the long weekend. Yawn!

    Have a great week!

    1. I find it encouraging that people like to see others laundry on the line! As I do! :) I'm proud of my old-soul; the olden days, hard and simple...kept alive.

Thanks so much for coming by, Lisa! Your first time?

  7. That is one of the things I miss about our move, no laundry line.
And for Lisa, no it's not strange to enjoy a beautiful picture of someone's laundry.
    Good job Bevy.

  8. It is a blessing reading all this goodness about hanging out the laundry... as you know I am not allowed to do so where we live, so I will just enjoy your lovely post... sounds like you had a busy day, with all the kiddos..... and yes babysitting can wear ya out... I remember those days...
